Clothing/costume mood board

The clothing in sanctuary is very clean and well tailored despite the state of the rest of the world. this reflects the pristine condition of the town itself. I tried to make the the style link to the steampunk/gothic aesthetic but i wanted it to have a leisurely look to reflect the relaxed and peaceful vibe of the sanctuary so i based the clothes on 1920s and 1940s style clothing.

I want to create an aesthetic in my comics that merges both steampunk (victorian) and dieselpunk (WW2) and so the clothes need to present this so its a clear theme.

There also needs to be a variety of different outfits for different characters and occasions but they need to carry a consistent style.

I created this mood board to present a clear theme for the costumes I will design.
